What to Bring
Just like packing for a trip for yourself, there are some things that should come with your pet so that they can be comfy at Pup North.
You can bring your pets favorite bedding, blanket, pillows, or stuffies. We supply kennel pads, blankets, and all the comforts if you forget. Please do not bring things for them to chew on. They are not supervised while in their rooms resting. Please note that we are unable to wash large beddings.
Food, medications, and belongings are items we need owners to bring for their pets. Any special accommodations should be brought up to our attention.
Meal Time and Tummy Care
Food
It is so important that your pet is comfortable and happy while staying with us. We have food on site (Anamaet) and all the needs for your pet. However, it is recommended that you pack their OWN food for their stay. (Food and water bowls are provided, so no need to bring those.) This helps avoid tummy troubles. It is requested but not required to pre-package their meals. Unless you are staying for extended time, do not bring large food bags. We run out of storage quickly. We will feed whatever your pet normally eats. We have a fridge/freezer and microwave on site just for those special meals.
Medical Conditions/Special Care
Medications, Treatments, and Wound Care
Many of our pets have the need for medications daily and or treatments that need to be done while you are away. We will provide all the cares that you request along with medication administration and wound care. Please note, our staff our not certified however, we are dedicated pet owners ourselves and will do our best by your pet.
Medications must come in the labeled bottle with the vet who prescribed the medication with clear instructions.
Any medications and treatments need to come with CLEAR instructions and if at all possible set up ahead of time. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
